Daphne Bryson Jackson

Daphne Bryson Jackson, principal managing partner of GovLink, Inc. has more than 20 years of community and government relations experience, providing her clients with dynamic strategies to access local government relationships and procurement opportunities.

Prior to founding GovLink, Inc., Jackson served as the Managing Director for the Georgia office of Washington, D.C.-based Stewart Partners where managed federal and local lobbying relationships with Fortune 100 companies. Jackson successfully developed strategies for corporate clients within federal and local agencies.

Jackson has also worked as the Director of Legislative Affairs for DeKalb County, Georgia – one of the Atlanta area's largest government bodies – where she provided key strategies on legislation. She also served as a senior staff member for two former presidents of the Atlanta City Council where she developed regional business, political and community relationships for key city initiatives.

Jackson has managed and provided consulting for many political campaigns, but also has worked for a wide spectrum of industries, including architecture and engineering firm, telecommunications, manufacturing and transportation.

She is a native Atlantan and is a graduate of Stephens College, where she is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and Jack and Jill of America. She served a two-year term as a member of the Atlanta Beltline TAD Advistory Committee and in 2009 served as a member of the national finance committee for Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
